Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data the parlo website at parlo.aioomi.com (the “site”) processes, why, and what rights you have. It covers this website only, not the parlo software you install on your computer.

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Yevhen Shcherbynskyi, a private individual in Warsaw, Poland, who publishes parlo under the name Aioomi.

For anything about your personal data, write to contact@aioomi.com.

What we process, and why

We don’t ask you for any personal data: the site has no forms, no accounts and no analytics.

When you open a page, your browser sends a request to the servers of our host, Vercel, which record it in their logs, as web servers do:

  • your IP address;
  • your browser’s user agent (the name and version of your browser and operating system);
  • the date and time of the request;
  • the address requested.

These logs are needed to deliver the site and keep it secure: to find faults, and to detect and block abuse such as attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and securing the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We don’t use the logs to profile visitors, and we don’t combine them with other data.

In our hosting dashboard these request logs are kept for 1 hour to 30 days, depending on the Vercel plan, and then deleted. How long Vercel itself keeps them is set out in Vercel’s privacy policy.

Who processes the data for us

Our host, Vercel Inc., in the United States, delivers the site and keeps the server logs on our behalf, as our processor, under its data processing agreement (Article 28 GDPR). We don’t sell your data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.

Vercel may process the logs outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Such a transfer relies on a safeguard the GDPR provides for (Chapter V): the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified under it. To ask about these safeguards, write to contact@aioomi.com.

Cookies and your device

This section is also our cookie policy.

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device: no cookies, no local or session storage, no tracking pixels. It has no analytics, no advertising and no social media plugins, so there is no cookie banner. Its fonts are served from the site itself, and while you browse it, it loads nothing from other servers.

Your browser may keep copies of the site’s files in its cache to load pages faster. They hold nothing about you, and you can clear them in your browser at any time.

The site links to other sites, such as GitHub (parlo’s source code), the PolyForm Project (its licence) and aioomi.com. Once you follow a link, that site’s own privacy policy applies. Installing parlo with npm install -g parlo-cli downloads it from the npm registry, not from this site; npm’s privacy policy applies to that.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access your personal data and get a copy of it (Article 15);
  • have it corrected (Article 16);
  • have it erased (Article 17);
  • restrict its processing (Article 18);
  • receive it in a portable format, where this right applies (Article 20);
  • object to its processing on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 21).

To use any of these rights, write to contact@aioomi.com. We answer within one month. The logs hold no names, so to find your data we will need details such as the IP address you used and when you visited.

Complaints

If you believe we process your personal data unlawfully, you can complain to the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO), at uodo.gov.pl, or to the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.

Changes to this policy

This policy is effective from 1 November 2026. When it changes, we publish the new version on this page with the date it takes effect.
